Sooooo.... I test drove the 2010 Acura TL SH-AWD 6MT today and was not impressed. I was kind of disappointed actually.

The ride was nice and I think the cosmetic damage to the car kind of turned me off (looks like previous owner hit something with curb damage/chips on the wheels, and damage to the underside of the front bumper and the rear bumper was kind of off), but there is NO WAY I'd pay what Acura ask for that thing brand new. I got on it just a little and was expecting more, but didn't feel it at all...

With that, I'm even more anxious to find a 3G to test drive.

I've been hearing nothing but bad things about the 4th generation TL. That's such a shame.

I heard a lot of bad things about the 2G before buying it.. I still love it..
Unless it has a serious design flaw like my trans.. I will own a 4th Gen Eventually.. Just after getting a god damn MDX.

it has better driving dynamics than the 3G.
the 6MT 3G is SOOOO HARD TO DRIVE, its not even funny.

you didnt feel anything special because its a pig. it weighs close to 4000lbs.
a veesix pushing about 250-270 to the wheels + 4000lbs aint going to WOW anyone.


I bet you didnt take it into a tight corner, where the car would shine.
I also bet you didnt push the vehicle to the limit.

You are right... I Didnt push it because the salesman in the car lol. There was a nice curve merging 2 highways I was trying to take it on but he told me to go another way.

BL is I'd buy it, but not for what they were asking. According to salesman I was the 3rd to test drive and 2 were ready to make an offer. I said OK... Thanks for the ride. I don't think its going to sell for what they are asking but I could be wrong.

Edit: last night a buyer was suppose to come get it... Still for sale. I'll wait a couple weeks and see if they are willing to play

Check out a TSX with the V6. Much lighter and more spirited !!!

The design is the only real bad thing about it. The SH-AWD is simply put. Awesome. Get one of the 6spd Manuals and it makes it that much better.
