Best Bug Remover!!

Here's how it all started, i was cleaning my headlights with some glass cleaner that has ammonia. I think i sprayed way too much on and it started to drip down to my bumber and I went to wipe it off and the bugs just dissappeared. I used the thing on my whole bumber and I took me like 5 minutes to clean the whole thing. I was sooo happy cause I tried all different kindas of $hit and nothing worked, remember all those forums i posted on how to get bugs off. I think I invented a new purpose for window cleaners, I'm thinking about being an invertor now.

no actually you should use Lifter 1.. its awesome safe for clear coat, but you still want to re scrub the areas that you applied to because almost all bug and tar removers will haze paint.

Did you guys try just using a good car wax? That will remove bugs and road gunk too...probably not as fast as some things but probably safest. Get the dried bugs wet first, then use the wax...

I use water and soap to take them off, that's why it takes me forever :p

What about using Prestone Bug Wash that you use in the windshield washer tank?

Also the question I have regarding this stuff is if you think it is bad to use the Prestone Bug Wash for washer fluid since it will get on the paint regardless?! Or is this stuff safe for the paint?

windex, bug & tar remover, bug wash, etc... all of them contain chemicals that will eventually harm your paint. They might say they're safe to your paint and all, but they will 1)completely take your clear coatings off 2)make the surface area rather rough 3)change the color of your paint. I have used all these chemicals in the past on my other cars... big mistake! this is why i only use water to remove them. might take forever, but TRUST ME. Water and a cloth will do the job.
