AV6 swap done, now problem with SS and D5 light out

Just got the swap done, now my SS won't work and my D5 light won't stay on. D1-D4 lights work, transmission seems to shift fine. Anyone have a clue which sensors on the AV6 would cause the SS not to work?

What did you swap? If you swapped everything like I said there should be no problems

ok, so apparently the range selector switch wasn't completely connected.... doh!!!!!!!

thanks again stephen00tl

im replacing my pressure switches now, i keep hearing stories that they smooth out shifting a ton, and i get slightly rough shifting into 3, 4

Mine has a positive shift into 4th but I already new that because of 666worker posted it when he did the swap. My guess is it has something to do with the shorter gearing in fourth

i kind of feel like it takes too long to shift into 5th gear or overdrive i guess. when i accelerate maybe 1/3 wot get to about 45-50, and completely get off the gas, it takes a while for it to shift up to 5th, does yours do this? also when braking and it downshifts, i can feel it, which is odd because i dont feel it in other cars.

overall the trans feels so much better than the old one, the ratios and the smoothness of shifts. feels quicker from a stop and shifts much quicker.

once i get the pressure switches in ill update status

good, then its not a problem with my transmission, I put the 3/4 pressure switches in, definitely smoothed out shifting in the upper gears significantly, i am glad i did it, and if people are right about longevity, thats good too.
