Email this man about them. He owns an Accord V6 Coupe and got the Philips HID Conversion and is using them.

They're imported from Japan.

Back in the last thread there is one site with them on it. Here is another, (if its not already linked). Unfortunately all in Japanese.

Again, he said he paid $200 for the pair.

Here are some specs I got from another forum, Those aqua covers make the light twice as blue, BUT half as bright. I dont know if I still want them, but they look cool. Here are the specs:

Before with D2J: 4210K, 39000 cd/m^2
After Aqua Blue: 6800K, 18000 cd/m^2

Here are pics:

Don't you guys worry about what jens said about how badly the aqua light performs in bad weather? It would seem that the aqua lights are not quite worth it if it impairs your headlight performance in bad weather.

Oh hell yeah, with that color light you don't see jack sh!t in rain- that's the problem with piaa plasma blues, they are bright but in the rain they're useless.

Yeah, when I had 90/100 watt superwhite H4's in my car when it rained, it looked like I had no lights on. HID bulbs are still brighter than halogen with the aqua capsules, but I suppose they would still suck in the rain. It all depends on what you would rather have. Some people just want the look I guess. I'm note sure if I want them yet, I would love to see a TL with them for sure!

Jens is a smart man. You can tell how the blue will look in the rain if you just turn off your HID's on a black road when its raining. When you turn your lights on, it will be very bluish which we all like but the visibility on the road is diminished, when you let your lights warm up a little, you'll be able to see a lot more.

19" rims with 35 series tires are very prone to bending and cracking from road irregularities.

Bigger Rims/Brakes will slow you down from increased rotational mass/unsprung weight.

A Cold Air intake always has a threat of hydrolocking when it rains.

Drag Radials have poor wet weather traction.

Summer only tires will brake loose in just about any other than optimal weather conditions.

And yet, people still buy all of these things, kinda makes you wonder. It won't freakin kill you if you're already dodging potholes, puddles, staying out of rain to begin with, to sacrifice a little for some badass headlights. Its not like every other mod out there doesn't have some drawbacks.

96TL:
Did you have to beef up the wiring harness or make any other mods to accommodate the extra wattage of the 90/100 bulbs? Any heat problems, etc.? Thanks.

Lightbulb

modocsot, I didn't upgrade anything, just plugged the bulbs in. I had them for a few months and I used them for a couple of hours in a row on some nights and I had no problems. BUT I wouldn't recommend doing it because every car is different, maybe H4 bulbs handle the heat better, I dont know. But a few of my friends have melted their plugs a couple of times so I upgraded to real Xenon bulbs because started to get worried even though they didn't have TLs, they both have Lexus'...
