If it's a small single bulb, check superbright LED's or Autolumination or V-LEDS and see if the Type 74 looks like the right size and base.

Just a guess on my part; I ... uhhh .... I didn't even know there was a bulb in there.

lol yea from what i hear some 02s have it and some dont. i loved mine tho until it burnt out and now im like ??? on what bulb size to buy lol

my 99 has a hole where a bulb could go, but no light. weird...

99-01 didnt have the light. Most of the ones that had it actually had the ashtray and not the "not an ashtray" insert

Anybody know if the 99-01's are pre-wired for the coin tray light? If it is I want to put a light in there.

Are the '02 models that have the "not an ashtray" insert wired to put in a bulb? I didn't even know some of them had bulbs there lol

i have a 02 and the car came with the "not a ashtray" but the light was there. i replaced the not a ashtray with the ashtray insert tho. it came with peice of metal with 3m tape on the back of it, and your suppost to go over the light hole, im guessing so not smoke gets in there? but then it defeats the whole purpose of ashtray light lol

lol your going to laugh when you hear this... after i bought the car about a month after, the ashtray light started to shut off at random so id open and slam the ashtray back up and it turned on so im like ok something loose no biggy. last week im driving and it wont turn on at all im hittin the side of the dash and all that trying to complete the connection again and nothing so im like ok 107k that bulb is probably burnt out.... so the night i planned to changed the bulb me and my buddy are ridin to his shop he lights up a cigarette opens the ashtray and nothing he gos to ash his cigarette so he hits the tray lightly with the cigarette and the damn light comes on lmao i could do nothing but laugh.. needless to say the bulb got replaced neways
