guys, I went to an auto show recently and I sat in a benz . .. heh anyway, the thing about it is, the interior light(s) on it was sooo beautiful. It had this warm soft white feeling about it. AND it was really bright too! The interior lighting was like the feeling you get at an art show or some expensive department store. The lighting just washed over everything and it felt sooo nice.

I was wondering if anyone knew about any bulbs that will do that for us. I've done a search on interior lights but most people seem to have polarg hyperwhites or something blue and so on but does anyone have something thats just bright, soft, and overall generally nice feeling. Is this even possible?

here you glow! drivers footwell white under dash, blue on seat, mini blue spots on center pillar ( shifter ) inspire footwell kit under both front dash, greenish blue hue.

 

2 whites under both front seats, blue neon crystals under rear seats.

 

blue neon crystals behind rear headrests, and upper corners of rear windshield. independent on/off switch.

 

very glowy! with indiglow gauges, and stereo lit up

miwa, i think i know what your talking. i got those little xenon bulbs in my map ligs, dome lights and door lights. they look 100 x better than stock. they look white and are definitely brighter. just pop out the plastics where the bulbs are, take them to any audio shop and tell them u need those bulbs but in xenon. it shoudlnt be more than $30.

i was never at any aventura meet. i havent been to one since i joined the board so i have no clue what u guys are talking about. but anyways.. im at FIU everyday too. what color is your car? i have 2003 silver tl-s, drop, kit, spoiler, and for the moment blacked out clear headlights. i'll take a pic of the xenon bulbs tonight when my bro gets home.

i'm currently doing something similar to the benz application.

i've gone to MB and gotten the parts list that comprises their lighting system and i'm going to try to wire it in.

so far i'm planning on:
footwell lighting,
wiring the map lights to activate wit the dome light,
lights in the rear pillars,
lights under the front seats,
stock honda lights in the rear doors (like the older accords),
and maybe some other stuff.

Looks very good....I got a question tho...What and where are those little blue lights on your center console? Id to do that if not too hard.

 

that's impressive. please keep me updated! I'm happy just replacing the lights in the stock locations. probably won't be as nice but I'll see after that.
