I curious how reliable the gta aux kit for the factory stereo is. I bought a cheap aux kit from amazon once and a month later it started shorting out. is there anything better, or is there a bluetooth setup available?

The GTA aux kit will not work on your Acura TL 99 model. It will do work on the 00 and on wards models. I asked this to them 2 weeks ago and they told me the firmware on the 99 is different than the 2000 and on wards.

Me getting a Blitzsafe instead.

 

I have seen threads where people buy the basic bluetooth from a set of headphones and wire it in to the cassette tape. Essentially making the car a bluetooth player. its pretty great, and saw it when I was trying to fix my cassette tape thing.

I have a 02 tl. And my tape deck is messing up, everytime I put a tape in it flips out and keeps switching tape sides, and just looking for something with better quality too.
