I have a CL-S that I want to put springs on and I don't want to get ripped off by the dealer. Does anyone know a good place to get them installed?

I live in Houston. I Got mine done at Hocus Pocus. I've heard bad experiences from them, but i've also heard of bad experiences from everywhere. they charged me $120. Car boy will do it also but they want like $150-180. Same thing really, and dropping a car is not all that hard.
Actually, my friend can take it to his shop for $100 if you want.
Hocus Pocus is on Bellaire b/w kirkwood and umm, Wilcrest. It's right next to HEB.

i actually got my parts installed at carboy yesterday. (springs, swaybars, and headers) they told me 450 flat for all 3 things, when i came to pick it up, they rang it up to 500, orginally 200 for headers, 150 for springs, 100 for sways... i told them that they quoted 450 straight up, and they moved the 250 headers to 220 (i'm too nice, shoulda b!tched some more cuz that's not right, maybe i should get the quote in writing next time) Anyways back to tha point, when workin' on cars, carboy is straight up on what they do, but charge an arm and a leg... wanna hear some scary sh!t? well i heard that endless has been known to make a copy of your key (while they are workin' on your car) to jack your sh!t later, and also sell you used parts saying they're new... i myself can deal with an expensive rep rather than a shady rep.
hmmm... so does anyone else ever get prices jacked up on them the last minute? this was the first time this has happened to me, so i was caught off guard.

I too have heard alot of bad things about Hocus Pocus. There's a place on Hwy 6. called Cartronix. They do alot of things there, not sure about springs, but it's worth a shot.

I've had ALL my stuff done at Carboy's in Houston and have not had a problem yet. I drive 230miles just to have them work on my car when I could drive 45miles to Baton Rouge and have it done at Lightning Motor Sports.
Carboy charges $120 to install springs and I have my receipt to prove it. Unless they run into problems the charge should be $120. The pulleys were $65 and they charged me $120 to install my Koni shocks. They quoted me b/w $200-$250 for the headers depending on how hard of a time they have getting the bolts off. My friend Alicia (Pimped out V6 Accord) had her headers installed for $250. She also had Neuspeed sways installed and they charged her $100 as well. You got off good getting the headers for $220!
When you go to Carboys, make sure you talk with Jackie for price quotes. (He's actually a guy)
Also have you seen the mechanics at Carboys? The two I have seen are either in their mid to late 30's to earlier 40's. Have a highschool looking punk work on my car doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling.
You can find another place to do it for cheaper, but you will have a hard time finding another place that does work better than Carboys.
The only gripe I have heard about Carboys is that they don't give regular customers "Hook Ups" on prices and what not.

I don't know if there's enough TL/CL drivers that will participate in a car meet in Houston, but there's a car meet right there on Westheimer at the Target parking lot, right behind Miami Subs near the beltway. I I use to see lots of cars there on Saturday nights I think...or could be friday. Then again I haven't really modified anything to participate in one.
