The rubber piece of the door panel that you pull to shut the door keeps popping out from under the plastic where the window controls are. Has this happened to anyone else? Got a fix for it?

Looks like warranty time. Good thing I have a one until 62k, I just passed 50k this week.

I guess I'll get it done when I have the ignition recall taken care of next weekend.

 

Mine does that. Super glue it and it should be fine.

 

My 99 TL did that in the driver side rear door. I took it apart and used some superglue type stuff. Thats what ya gotta do when you don't have a warranty

 

mine does that too. I heard other ppl had that done under warranty. They actually replace the whole door panel

 

mine does that in the rear but not on the front doors for some reason.... i will have that looked at along with a couple other issues i am having like rattle from gauge cluster...rattle from sunroof.... squeak from passanger side of car... ac vents keep flipping up....etc etc....

 

The door trim on my '99 looks exactly like the picture. Only the drivers door so far. I've been meaning to glue it but was going to talk to the dealer and see if they would fix it. I'm at 71,000 mi so no warranty. Sounds like super glue is the way to go.

 

Just noticed last week that one of the rear door panels on my '00 has popped out just like in the photo. Gonna take it it next week and see if the dealer will warranty it.
