what are the zipcodes yall are trying, and do you know if you have to put the zipcode in the address you live in, or can you just put a zipcode from the city you want to take delivery in?

Check and double check what you're getting - there is no way CarsDirect is selling TLS w/ Nav for under $30K, I don't care what zip code you're putting in!

Carsdirect does not give very good prices. Pay careful attention--the price quoted for the TL-S Navi is actually for a non-Navi. $2000 will be added to the price when you select "Navi" as an "Option" in a later screen.

$31,630 Type "S" with navi! That's the price that came up when I typed in my zip code: 32837. Wish I would have known about this before I went to my dealer!!!

I spoke with a representative from Carsdirect and she strongly indicated that I could NOT purchase a car from another zipcode. she said that I could only buy one within my zipcode "district". I live in Tennessee and found better deals in other states and was asking about being able to purchase one of those from Carsdirect. She says I can't do that. So, I'm stuck with full MSRP from Tenn dealer on Carsdirect.

I utilize www.carsdirec.com as a price reference at times (only if their pricing is much lower than MSRP).

The info on carsdirect is pretty good, but the best way is to just use it along with your other internet pricing and materials to negotiate in person.

It's always good to make a good contact at the dealership, so when you go back again, you can use the same person (if he or she is still there) instead of starting all over again. I only wish I had a friend that worked for a dealership that could get me a great price, no questions ask, etc..

It's all about contacts these days too.
