Went this morning to get em installed...after 2 hours, he got em on. As another member said before, a part of the downpipe slightly touches the oil pan but its not a big deal.

Dont really know if its pulling any harder yet but I can hear them leaking. It can be heard on accelerations but with cd player on it can't...still, im gonna take it back in a week and tell him so he can retighten the bolts and hopefully fix it.

Off Topic: He let me drive his scion xB to the bank while he worked on aligning the muffler with my WW Kit...hehe, although its pretty ugly, fun car to drive i must say. Maybe its the velvet like seat covers he put in and comfortable leather wrap he had on the wheel, but not a bad car really.

Megans on last Wed, no problems yet, serious power gains with a nice throathy sound. Comptech CAI on Fri to complete the duo. Different car all together, glad I did it. Pondering underdrive pullies next waiting on all the facts ie; harmonic stuff

All the facts are in, harmonics is not an issue with the UR crank pulley.

 

yea in a couple days ill take it back to have the bolts retightened cuz the leaking noise makes it sound like an old car

yea, on accelerations, its kinda like a ticking noise.

 

so your sure its your headers leaking? sometimes i hear a ticking sound from mine, almost like a lifter sound. don't hear it all the time though?

 

im almost a 100% sure its the headers. like a sucking/ticking sound. not a straightforward tick tick tick, more subtle. never happened before the headers and the second they were on it started so it should be them.

 

Ticking present on mine just after header install. 1 month later, it is gone.

I just need to get the bolts re-torqued. I am starting to get some slight resonance now.

 

nice, good to hear. Yea the guy said he put the bolts on pretty damn tight so there should be no need to retighten or nething, but i guess if i still have the ticking after a while ill go back

 

i have the ticking noise and the resonance, at first i was like watever but now its getting worse and annoying, im waiting on these daym replacements that megans suppose to send me.

 

O get like a buzzinf sound for the headers. It didn;t bother me much but now, sinc the weather has been nice, I drive with my windows down and I can here the damn buzz, tick whatever, DONT LIKE IT, I am waiting for my suppsely whole new headers from megan but damn these fooz lack like no other. The representative from meagan that was on this site got kicked off too but the mods so I dont know man. They said they promise me a brand new set of headers so in the meantime I gotta try o wipe out the buzzin noise
