Another Blown Tranny

So I was mergining onto I-295 and Route 1 when my tranny decided to say fuc* you. Going to take the car over to acura today. Just out of wondering, what is your local acura dealership policy on loaners? Is it an acura corporate policy or dealership policy to let out loaners?

hey guys, im actually sitting at the dealership right now using there complimentary high speed internet and there complimentary dell computer. Very impressed. About to test drive an 04 tl. It was an 02 with 40K on it. They said it should take 1 week to 10 days. The loaner car should be no problem but they have to give me a mercury.

when my first tranny failed, I drove a rental Dodge Stratus for 10 days (paid by Acura).

another time I brought my car in for a scheduled service and they gave me a newer TL-S as a loaner (took them a while to locate it)

when my second tranny failed, I took it to another dealer and they arranged for a rental, Volvo S60.

Gee, why is it taking os long for them to get the tranny in and installed. I brought my TL-S in last Saturday, and drove away with it yesterday.

Incidently, I love the new tranny :worship:

Our 2002 TL/S went with no notice @ 43,000. The only sign I had that something might be wrong was the brown tranny fluid, and that is apparently a real positive sign. Ed Voyles Acura (GA) however, really stepped up to the plate. Immediately gave us a 2004 Jetta and we were back in our car in exactly one week. Could not be more pleased! Service guy was Jason, and they did a fantastic job!
