alternator fitment question

alternator fitment question

Just wondering if an alternator off a 2003 Accord V6 will fit my 2002 TLS?

alot of hondas part #s are different from the acuras and are actually the same or will work. As for if it will work?? Also you would want to check to see what the amp of the accord alt is compared to the TL. Also look for the 98-02 accord, that was the same body as our tl

i checked at o reilly auto parts and they didnt match up. the part numbers there are generally the same even for different cars. but i may be wrong

thats why said to look at the 98 to 02, as the 03 is a different car. and to hold the 2 up and compare. the 03 may very well be different

Situation is that someone has a high amp alt for sale pretty cheap and he had it in a 2003-up Accord. It will also fit 04+ TL's if that helps?

Yes 98-02 accord alternaltor will fit on 99-03 TL

i have a 99TL and i try to buy a 150-200 Amp Alt, and i call every auto part dat i know and they sai not thing for that vehicle and when i try to call one place they say yes for 150amp Altornator for 99 TL, but when i pick up the altornator the box say it for 98-02 Accord, well i when home and install it. And guess wat? it FIT! . but you have to buy a new Bell Tho it cost another 20 buck at autozone.

There is a problem when you put in an high amp alternator tho. while you driving in a local road you'll see the battery and the brake light flash on your dash. it is ok dat it flash and goes out like 5 seconds. but when you drive and the hight way it not gone flash
