Alignment Problem Please help me

Alignment Problem Please help me

Alright so we lowered the TL on H&R sports, today we bring it to Acura to get it aligned. Then they tell us that they cannot do it cuse the ball joints are too low? Can this be a correct cause for not being able to align it? Do i need a camber kit? So can a car be too low to align?

Take the car somewhere else, you'll probably save some $$$ in the process too. So many people have dropped cars here, and all of them have had alignments. Those jackasses probably just dont want to work on it, or are trying to give you a hard time for modifying your car that you paid for. I hate guys like that.

if you take the bumper off you will be able to drive the car on to their hoist to do the alignment. OR you could call around and find an alignment shop that is able to do the alignment from the ground not from a hoist. The specialized shops will have one but a dealership might not.

take the bumper of when u get to acura or thay will want almost$300 to do it almost $200 to take out the bumper bitches.I pay 280+tax but they did a good job .ball joint was good same springs u got

i would never bring the car to the dealer for an alignment. bring it to a place that specializes in that kind of work (like MR HYDE said save your self money too)

they are bullshitting you...i had my 02 TLS with H&R sports aligned at my acura dealership...there is nothing wrong with the ball joints...the only thing a proper alignment can't fix is the camber in the back, but due to the weight distribution of the TL being so light in the back, the camber doesn't become an issue so long as you rotate tires consistently.

Alright so no matter how low the TL is an alignment can be done right?

yes! the only thing the lower you go you may need to buy a camber kit. but as far as getting an alignmet goes. yes they can do it. just dont waste your money brining it to the dealer for one

My dealership ( Acura East ) did all that and more. They said they adjusted my camber to becasue of the lowering and fixed my alignment ( toe out )....its works great.
