Question aftermarket chip

Does anyone currently make an aftermarket chip for the TL-S? Is this even possible or do you have to have one of those "power programmer" things like GM and Fords have, to reprogram the ECU? It would be cool if among the ability to increase H.P. and compensate for oversized tires/wheels, it could also alter shift points. And allow you told 1st. gear all the way to redline in S.S. mode.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the link, The ECU upgrade sounds promising (20 HP) but the $799 dollar price tag is a little more then I expected. $1100 dollar headers and $800 computer upgrades, making a TLS faster ain't cheap!

You'll be better off going with the RES (when its released) - get that same 20 HP for $299.

The last thing I saw here from someone who is supposed to know said the "Phantom Res" would be out in 60 days. I looked at the post date and then went to my calendar and it seems like the thing ought to be released on April Fools day. Hmmm!:yack:
