Advice needed on putting on emblem kit
I've been searching the site but I cant seem to find anything on this. My car was just painted so I cant see where the old emblems where. I want to put them on as straight as possible and in the right position. Any advice?

Well its good that you cant see the old ones, it means you got a good paint job!
Just look at pictures online of our cars and youll see where everything goes (this site, google, ect...)
For the rear, only put the A symbol its what most of the members do here, and it looks good
Sorry if I wasnt much help, but we all do what we can

another option would be to go to a nearby dealer where they have a 2nd gen and measure out the placement of the lettering....or why dont u jus put the "A" back on and leave it debaged...

If he wanted to stay de-badged, I think he wouldn't have posted. There are diagrams in the Helm manual with actual dimensions of what goes where...once I get home I'll try to throw up that diagram.

I personally don't like the debadged look, so when someone ripped off my "A", I promptly bought a new one to put back on. But then when they ripped off the 3.2TL, I was too lazy to buy another & affix it in the same spot. I don't think it looks better but it's one less thing they can pull off....that's the only advantage I see.
Like I said though, to each his own. I tend not to deviate from the 'stock' look; the further you are from it, the closer you are to vandalism or even theft, IMO.

It's all personal preference; it's what you think, not others.

well the "A" definitely has to be put on becuz if not it leaves the 2 holes in there....and jus becuz it doesnt say "A C U R A" or "3.2TL" doesnt mean.."come and break into my car"...its jus a sleeker look and makes people wonder what kinda car it is...

Yeah, the correlation between being debadged and having your car broken into is probably low. However, I think the more you move away from stock, the higher the probability that someone "takes a second look" at your car. Whether or not that leads to vandalism is probably difficult to conclude. But I'm biased anyway...I like to keep stuff looking stock (or close to it); won't see me dropped or kitted-up. How lame am I, huh?
