I think the rear end R33 conversion might be the most ive ever seen applied..Legends, 4th Gen Max's, old accords- and it never really looks good haha

Its different, I like it mainly because he cut the flaps off of the front lip and side skirts of the WW kit.

There were pictures of a blue 2nd gen with a tail light conversion like this 3 or 4 years ago floating around here at one point.

 

Those tails should have stayed on that R33.......

 

 

+1...when i had my WW kit i was thinking of doin this but i never had a chance to see what it would look like...i dunno why its being bashed if the only thing different is the tailights...nice choice of rims, kit, and paint...its different.

 

why would u ever want to try and make ur car look like something else? to me thats just ghetto u should never try and hide ur car's true identity... especially the TL

 

..a new paint job and slammed, I'm sure all of you would think differently about the car. The taillights aren't too bad, though not my cup of tea.. but other than the horrible paint job.. it looks alright.

+1 for the Mugen grille as well.

 

^^ tails make it look like a crap domestic car, the paint is also hideous, but overall he did good work it looks.

Why does any one mod their car? All they are doing is making it look like something else. Why do some Try to put Honda badges on it to make it not look like a Acura? Why do some Debadge? To be different from the guy next to them!

 

i agree.

but there are some instances where people go out of their way for no reason.
i remember seeing somebody selling a "Honda Accord" on ebay with an entire integra conversion.

i think he paid like 8K for the front clip and then custom masked the Tails look like a TEG. after all was said and done. he could of bought 2 integras and modded them.

its a damn shame.

debaging and sticking Honda symbols on Acura is fine, it makes sense.

but to me, modding your car to look like another car. dee duh deeee

 

Contacted the seller (good guy, btw)
Hopefully trading my car for his +cash (since mine is newer and has a little more money into it)
I plan on bagging it and getting some Work Emo's and calling it a day. (Since most of the work is already done. Love the rear end and paint.)

Looking back at it...given that it is a wildly different look on a more conservative sedan...it could look a lot worse.
