The chance of potential engine damage is very possible and most likely will require further inspection to diagnose the severity.

I assume you drove the car after you got it. Did you hear any tapping valvetrain noises when driving? If not, it's probably fine. And don't rev up the engine to see if you can hear them. Change out that timing belt asap. Oh, and you need to replace the water pump, hydraulic tensioner, idler pulley and tensioner pulley while you're at it. You can get all of these oem parts in the Aisin kit.

Its a time bomb get it replaced asap I could imagine its stalling and not idling right. If its not noisy then its good go for it.

I believe 2 teeth off should not be an issue.. that's like the normal advancing or slowing timing offset.

If its the crank pulley you can get that bolt out with the starter just make sure to use a hardened 19mm.

I'm pretty sure momentum kept you safe. I would replace the damaged parts ASAP though. That's not something you want to dick around with.

I can say based on many user reports,,the belt breaks slips or otherwise comes out of time = bent exhaust valves
this is a zero clearance engine,,when an exhaust is open it will hit the piston top and bend the valve stem = wont seat

many shops will say replace the belt and then we will see...and its always bent valves
so they get to charge another 1000!!
You have to undo most of the work you just did!

while intake is off, perform egr pathways and port cleaning to it
