Access to top AT solenoid

I'm trying to get access to the top transmission solenoid and it's tricky to get around this connector (circled in red).
How do you remove this wiring connector from the metal bracket?
Anyone have ideas? I've pushed and pulled that tab on the connector and it won't budge.

I've also tried to unbolt that bracket, but it has a mess of stuff connected to it and they don't want to come off.

Those can certainly be a PIA.
All I can suggest (which sounds like what you have been doing) is to use a small pocket flat screw driver and either pull up or push down on the (yellow circle) tab while simultaneously pulling / wiggling the grey connector in the direction of the green arrow.

In addition, if you can get a small mirror down there, look under the grey connector to check if there is another hidden 'tab' that may need to be actuated?
Sometimes that is the case and one would not realize it.
Good Luck!

It is a royal pita. I wound up breaking the tab, but here are a few pictures with it off.

i clean it up of any loose sediment with contact cleaner spray, followed by a little spray silicone. push on the tab and apply a small amount of twist to walk it out.

inserting a wide screwdriver in the areas marked in red and twisting helps too.
