abs sensor problem

2002 tl-i had ordered 2 front left abs sensors by accident not knowing i had already ordered one already some time before and wasn't able to return the extra one.i fixed the one wheel issue everything was fine.then during the summer i had the tcs/abs light come on again but now it was for the right front side.i found the damaged wires and used the old bracket for the right side and made it connect to the arm. i cleaned the deep grooves on the tone wheel with a screwdriver to get all of the corrosion out and lightly sanded the high grooves, sprayed brake cleaner on,wiped the sensor head off and blew it with compressed air, put the wheel back on,drove it for so many feet and the lights went off and remain off but now i have another problem.when the car comes to stop the last 5 mph and less the abs engages and pulsates the pedal and makes it harder to stop completely.it only happens at that speed.could using the wrong side sensor cause this or the tone wheel scraping/cleaning do this?.i fear that in the snow or on ice that it will cause me to skid further and cause an accident.it's very weird..any ideas? thanks.

Mike, Magnetic Sensor is probably loose or not seated all the way.
