ABS Problem

ABS Problem
Been having ABS problems in my 2.5 TL since 160000km. The light illuminated and the accumulator would make the buzz sound too often even after the car started. Sure enough, the ABS code (1-8) showed accumulator to be the problem. After $300 of replacing with a new accumulator, the buzz sound comes on after turning the car for about 15 seconds and then the ABS light clicks back on. Anyone know what this could be or had a similar problem

Code 1-8 is a LR wheel sensor electrical noise or intermittent interruption. Who told you the acccumulator was at fault? A $70 shop manual is a lot cheaper than a $300 accumulator replacement.
I would suggest removing the wheel sensor, cleaning the sensor, and cleaning the cogged wheel beneath the sensor. Insert a rag in the sensor opening and turn the wheel to clean the cogs. Dirt/grease can accumulate and interrupt the voltage output of the sensor coil.
good luck

He may have the wrong code. I agree that ABS pump run-on is not caused by LR wheel sensor.
An accumulator leak can usually be fixed w/ simple replacement of the small oring that seals accumulator to the modulator.
Accumulator oring is not available from Acura, but you can match at an auto parts outlet. That fixed the replacement modulator I found for my daughter's 2.2CL. Original modulator had an internal leak that I couldn't fix.
The 2.5TL has a different ABS modulator than the 2.2CL, and the 3.2TL.
