I want to purchase the 02 tails. I have a 99tl. I know that this site sell the tails by themselves, the tails with harness without etc. Which ones do I have to purchase. Can I just buy the tail lights and put them on my car or do I need the harness?

 

you don't really need the harness.. the only diff is the turn signal bulb.. you could use your old harness, but probably just get an amber colored bulb..

I got the wiring harness and it took all of about 30 mins to swap them out. Go for the harness

 

go to www.matrixracing.com and you can purchase the JDM 02 tail lights - direct fit, takes about 20 mins to do per light, no harnesses needed, they even provide the amber bulbs...it's a breeze!

 

Thanks hafids....I looked at them and I am buying them.... those are the cheapest I have seen thusfar.

 

matrix also does form time to time sell them on ebay for a little cheaper....on their website they go for about $240...i bought mine on auction for $190. I was the only bidder!
