This morning, on my way to school it started raining. No big deal, I know how to drive in the rain. Well I get close to the school and come to a stopsign where I have to turn right. Its a three way, and perpendicular street has the right of way. I'm stopped, waiting on oncoming traffic before I turn onto the street. Out of no where comes a gray IS300. It is turning onto the street I'm on.

Well, they have a little too much gas coming around the corner and the rear of the car started coming my way. Sure enough, it hit the front fender of my car and scraped all the way down the side. My left side headlight is busted, front fender is dented in, my hood is creased, and the plastic bumper is cracked on the side. Front door is dented, and deep scratches from front door down.
Back tires on the IS were bald, and rain didn't help. My car looks like shit now.

Yes, it was very slow when happening and painful when over.

It was a young girl, and the IS300 was her first car. It messed up her back door, taillight, and trunk lid.

Just because she dogs her first car, doesn't mean she has to ruin mine!

The rear end comes around,,, and you are history for control
Same reason you dont need massive rear brakes on a TL- it would just encourage the rear end to pass the front~

If you know a body shop get an estimate there- and a few places to compare work and price. You have the right for the car to be repaired by the facility of your choice when its their fault

 

Both of us have valid drivers license and we both have full coverage.

I was actually thinking of doing the same thing to my girlfriend today and calling her up to tell her I had gotten into an accident with the TL. I was planning on acting super pissed and upset, and allow her to deal with it on the other end...but then I decided against it. I made a good choice cause she had one hell of a stressful day haha.

When I left school today, I checked to make sure my hood wasn't creased, my fender was still straight, my headlight was sound, and side was scratch-free. lol

I got one of my teachers good. She has a TL too. I went to the office and told them to give a note to her. This is what it said: I'm terribly sorry, but I backed into your TL this morning while leaving the school. I don't think there is much damage to your car, but a few scratches. Please call me if you have any questions or wish for me to replace your bumper.

I left my number, but not my name. She called me right as I was getting in my car to go home. I had her going for a good 10 minutes. Then she recognised my voice. She thought it was funny. She freaked when she got the note.
