I just both a 2000 tl cai for my 99tl. It looks like the engine bay is alittle different between the two. I searched but the answer was "do a search" I just want to confirm if it fits. I put it up next to the engine and it looks like its not long enough. Thanks.

The 00 should fit the 99. 99 Had the heater core for the intake. Make sure you re-route that back to the engine.

No, the mini heater core is inside the stock air box. If you look at the side of the air box that faces the battery, you will see 2 metal pipes that are joined by a small clip. This part (pipes and clip) looks like the letter X. There are hoses connected to each end of these pipes. Two hoses go towards the front of the car and they connect to the mini-radiator. The other two hoses connect to places near the throttle body.

 

Once i take the mini heater core off, How can I secure it?

 

Secure what? The mini heater core gets removed along with the stock air box.

 

So where the two hoses that goes to the heater core go? Do I just put it together?

Anywayz guys, thanks for putting up with my crap. I was getting kinda scared when I saw the lil radiator. I didnt know to just take it away or what and what to do with the hoses. But it's in and it's pretty loud. Anyone here dyno there 99tl p with just the aem cold air? Any gains or loses? Thanks for not flaming me .
