Question 99 3.2TL to 04/05 3.2TL MODS...

Hey All! I am pretty set on getting that 99 3.2TL. I want to get a brand new TL, but I am going to wait until I get married. So what I want is a list of all the mods that I can do to a 99 3.2TL and take off and stick on a 04/05 3.2TL. I want everything from fading interior/footwell lighting to exterior/headlight lighting to the fog light mod. Instructions would be welcomed, but I am more interested in the mods themselves. I can search and find the instructions. Just make sure they are compatible between the 99 3.2TL and the 04/05 3.2TL. Thanks for viewing and posting! Cheers All!

I dont think anything will be compatible. They are 2 different set ups.. Even though the engine is the same I dont think the headers and intake will fit. The footwell light will work on any car. Thats about it..

Exclamation I want apperance, not performance...

I want to change anything performance. More like apperance. Like putting in fog lights and adding interior neon lighting and upping the HID bulb to 6000K and changing the high beams to white instead of yellow with PIAA bulbs. Those are the only things I know of. What I want is other people's ideas that I haven't heard of yet and how to do them. I know the performance mods aren't going to be compatible, so what I want are apperance mods that are compatible. Anything would be fine, I just need some, I have $500 to spend on them and I want to so I don't have to later. Cheers All!

appearance wise, changing the lighting is probably the only thing you can do that will allow you to transfer teh bulbs to the new tl....everything is different, including rims(offsets are entirely different)

Exclamation What about CHEAP things...

Alright guys! I give up on apperance only thing. So what are some CHEAP mods I can do to a 99 3.2TL. By cheap I mean CHEAP DO IT YOURSELF projects. Thinks light clearing your headlights and installing 02 taillights. Also....does Acura make a stock version of fog lights a dealer can install for a 99 3.2TL? Cheers All!

there are no stock fog lights for the 2nd gen TLs....you can clear your own headlights so cost is cheap there...otherwise, there really isnt much anything you can do, since you want all your money invested in this car to be able to transfer to the next.

Car Mods

Theres Very simply ones that are transferable, a cheep way to go would buy skirts and lips, lowering springs, I think the grill is interchangeable but im not sure. definitely interior lighting, that's always good, floor mats, exhaust systems can be fabbed to be interchangeable. you can always de-badge it. theres not much because they literally are two different cars.
