I've tried searching, but came up with zilch. Did they make a 6 speed in the TL's from 01-03? I would am in the process of looking for a new car and am considering one. I would like the Type-S, but their rare. Please help me out.

5AT in 00-03 only. And you might want to change the saying underneath your username to "drop a gear and call roadside" because it'll be 3rd gear, most likely.

CL Type S in 2003 with MT? Yup

 

Oh and you need to change the spelling from "Disapear" to "Disappear"

That option was only available on the very rare fsttyms1 model.

To my knowledge, only one was ever produced (sort'a).

 

Thanks for the replies guys. I wasn't sure about the earlier year TL's. I know the new 04 & up come with a 6MT, but I guess I'm sol for the previous years. Oh well, I guess I'll just take the auto and run. I would like to find a Type-S in the metallic blue with black leather (not sure of the color name). I saw one the other day and that color is beautiful. Thanks for the input, and yes I will change my sig...
