OK I have had my 5000k since January and they still look yellow compared to even my stock one. I bought the bulbs from akinboy on this board has anyone had this problem to. I drive on average 1500miles a month with my lights on about 60% of the time. Are my bulbs defective or do they still need more time for the color shift?

If you beleive you've past your 100hours of use "break-in" period, then you just may not ever be satisfied with your HID's.

 

dang thats def weird man. maybe they are defective. 5000K should be more blue

 

I dont know about a break in period. I bought 6000k's and they've been wayy whiter and bluer than stock---plus i've had them for a few months and they look exactly the same.

 

I will try to get some pics for yall to check them out.

 

I have Phillips Ultinon or something like that and they are WHITE AS HELL! i dont think ive [assed my break in period tho

 

i have 5800k and mine are purple
