Weird issue, my TLS has trouble starting when its raining outside! In the winter, when its -20 degrees C it has no trouble, but when the rain starts pouring it starts choking. I need to crank it for like 6-10 seconds instead of the normal 1-2 to get it to turn over and start. Any idea what this problem may be?

Maybe water is getting somewhere it shouldn't be?

 

... could be the battery? cause i know cold temps help keep battery fresh/juiced up. that's why people put it in the freezer.. and when its rainging, it's usually warm - well, warmer than snow... right? try the batter, i had a similar prob, but in general. changed the battery, and whoopie doo, it start up like when i first bought the car.

 

The colder it gets, the less cranking amps batteries have.

 

one of your spark plug wires may have a crack

Spark plug wires sounds right. I live in the Pacific NW with lots of rain ... and parked outside ... never any problem.
