2002 tailights install
I'm going to buy the type s tail lights for my 2000 TL. I was wondering if I need to buy anything else other than the light itself. And also is it hard to install? Can you guys me a link where someone gave directions? How long does it take etc? thanks

Hey Adam, YOu got yours already? Did you pay that $167 afterall? Damn, I might have to do that too, i want to get mines soon. 
Can't wait to see some pics of 02 tails actually installed on an earlier model.
Did you get new bulbs too?

The 02 tails fit perfect I have a 99TL...It was probably $167 a tail..Not a pair.
Did u get them from Park Ave??

Talked to Lisa. She's awesome. What did you do about the bulbs? Are you still using the original whites?
Yes it was 167 each.

I installed a set "02 tails in a "00 TL for one of our customers today.Looks very cool however for an additional 10 dollars each you can get the wiring harness for the "02 tails that makes this a true plug and play.Since this was our first shot at this mod we replaced the turn signal socket with a spare but then we had a problem with the bulb as it is a special one as well.Needless to say we now will be stocking these harnesses so we can do this quickly and easily.Jens

How much total w/o labor?
Can you post any gotchas?
Also, do you think the 02 HU will fit the 01?? I want the CDs and the cost I think would be just a bit more than a Changer...
