Hey guys, I have contacted a maker/dealer that makes diecast models. I asked about the dicast model for the 02-03 TL (since I have the 03). They range about $45 a piece and also I think i will need atleast 10-15 people to actually buy the diecast if made (to justify the cost to the maker). Anyone interested if I get the ok from the maker/dealer??

I am going to request he make the diecast as a TL-S and also with the ground kit. Hopefully, the scale will be 1:12, 1:18, or smallest maybe 1:24. Anything else I should know??? Thanks guys.....

 

That sounds sick. Try and get the TL-S and removable wheels so you can put big ole 20's on it. Either way that sounds badass I'm down for one.

I do not know, I don't want to get everyone's hopes up, but i just set a prliminary request for the models. I do not know what the response is yet. I hope he says it is all good, then I will ask about colors and other shit.... Let's just hope he agrees to the request.... i have been looking for a long ass time and never found any. Some one told me that they made a Honda Inspire diecast that is 1:64 scale, but I can't find that....

A '02-'03 TL-S with OEM kit would be perfect. I'd buy one (regardless of color) for $45. I've never been able to find anything for an Acura TL / Honda Inspire in model/diecast form.

I'd be down if its an 02/03 TLS. I'd prefer an aegean blue pearl color, but like many have stated I'd still get it despite the color of the model or if it comes with a kit or not. The only stipulation for me would be that it's a type-s (personally only because I think the type-s wheels look better...other than that not very different exterior wise). Might be worthwhile to make a CT model (ie lowered, exhaust, and strutbar....I'd take one with a CT sticker on the windshield if it helps reduce the price).
