Post 0-60miles in 6.9 secs

I am a happy camper. My mods are: front spoiler, wood knob, mobil 1 and a goooooood driver.

2000TL is faster than i thought.

How did you get 6.9 secs and who timed you?

0-60 mph in 6.9 seconds. Thats impressive. what did you use to get that time? Was it at the track or did you have one of those gtech pro thingys?

i used my friend's gtec pro thing. I also had my brother onboard.

btw: i don't have digital camera, therefore don['t have pics.

Did you turn off the A/C, headlight? How many extra weight you were carrying? Just wondering... Oh and did you torque brake? at what rpm?

at the time, everything was off except my headlight. I was carrying 1 passenger (my brother). As for power break...no, i did not use that method. When i lunched the car, i was paying more attention on wheel slip than my rpm, therefore i can't tell you what my rpm was. All i remeber, interms of car performace, was that i did it in 2 gears.

u can't just do one run and call the time. u have to do the same run in both directions and take the average, in the least. that would account for any downhill u might be on.

been there done that... I took 2 runs on monday and tuesday. the two run i had on monday was higher...at 7.2 and 7.0. On tuesday it was 7.0 and 6.9. It was cold on both day...so it might have helped with the performance a bit.

damn u zodiak .. i was just gonna say the same thing (6.9 for stock TL seems a bit low)

Yeah i've gotin around 6.9 sec zero-60 a couple of times my self ....and its was int auto and sport.
