new wheel pics

I finally found some wheels and got them on this week. I'm really happy with the end result.

V713
45 mm offset
8.5" wide

Looks nice.

What kind of rubber?

Did you need a hub ring?

What kind of lug nuts?

How much do they weigh?

Finally, give us the magic on how did you make them fit? When I spoke to VMR, they said they would not fit.

We did use a hub ring.

tires yokohama 255/40

The lugs were from a 4wd gm not sure exactly what they were from, stock lugs were to wide.

When I talked to VMR they would not commit to them fitting, but we took the chance. We got lucky with them clearing the brake caliper maybe 1/8 to 1/4 inch clearance. I tried to take a picture but I can't get a good angle on it.

Not sure on the weight I think they are 27 but that might be a wag.

The pictures don't do them justice. I am very happy with them.

Well it looks outstanding! Being able to use BMW wheels gives people a whole lot more choice. To my knowledge, you are one of the pioneers in that!

Where did you get the ring?

It would be nice for all to know where you can get a 72.56 to 64.1 mm centering ring!

Looks good! Also good to know that someone tried them and they fit. I was debating between the V713 and the V710, but worried about fitment (was told by VMR to do my research because they won't guaranty they fit). I was also on the fence between 35 and 45 offset. If my thinking is correct, 35 will give more clearance from the brake and move the wheel out towards the fender. Do you think I could get by 10mm closer to the fender or will the tires scrub (planning on a small drop in the future)?
