New tires now I notice strange noise (ecsta4X)

Never noticed noise before, I'm guessing because my ride is so much quieter. But as i turn the wheel or take a sharp turn I hear clunk. doesn't sound like cv axle, car is 07 with 81k very well maintened. Side note I love the tires for the price. 725$ mount balance and alignment at local Acura dealer

I just put these kumhos on my RL 2008. They are a little rougher riding than the eom Michelins but nothing like you are experiencing.

i get the clunk on my TL but that is from the rear sway bar !!!

make sure your front and rear sway bar are tight....changing tires should not produce a clunking sound !!!

In addition to rougher, are they noisier than the OEM Michelins?

Sorry bout the delayed response, u may have already made a decision. Funny enough I had these rebalanced and they are great. Smooth and quiet on the highways and grippier on turns( they are new). I would only say a little rougher and noisier over rough loose pavement. I'm not one of these guys who claim to be great driver but I do drive harder than average and I like these a lot. Especially for the price and kumho has a 50 dollar rebate right now. And they look pretty cool on the car!

I got no complaints on these tires either. They grip very well, much better than the bald michelins that were on there. If don't drive the cars for a couple days or so the tires are kinda rough for the first 1/2 mile or so. That is the only thing I've noticed, and its not a major concern

I actually haven't bought new tires yet, looking to replace the Michelins later this year.

Just wondering how many miles have you put on the Kumho's? I'd be interested to hear how long the tires last and how it performs over the long run.
