Costco

It looks like the Pilot A/S is being discontinued in the 245/50/17, and is not being made in the A/S Plus. The options for the RL are very limited. HAs anyone used Costco for tires? Any issues with install or TPMS?

So just out of curiosity, did you buy standard sized tires, or something different. My Costco had a policy of not ordering tires that were not an OEM published size. For example, I went from 205-60/15 to 225/50-16 and was told no way. The only published 16 inch size was 215-55/16. Sorry.

Of course, that was years ago....maybe they are more lax now.

The 17" OEM size is very odd and there are few choices. Here are the choices offered by the Tire Rack:

Really sad that there are no real options since the OEM are terrible. The A/S are being discontinued and the A/S plus is not being made in the OEM size. As of yet no discount on this size while all others are discounted 20-30%. Onlinetires.com offers the Versado but that is more touring. If I had the 18" there are many performance options most under $200. Costco quoted $197 on the phone, but it was $247 when i got here for the A/S. I left, and will wait to see if Tirerack drops the price
