Tpms 06 rl
Tpms 06 rl
When mounting new tires is there a valve stem, core that needs to be changed on the OEM TPMS. Also does the computer auromatically sync with the TPMS so it indicates correctly the wheel/tire location if pressure is low, or does a system need to be reset.
No, just replace the tires and leave the integrated valve stem alone. The tire installer should know.
The computer will automatically sync, but you may have to drive a mile or let it idle for awhile for the sync to occur.

I thought they had to use a device to reset the TPMS and indicate the location... Front Left, Front Right, Rear Left and Rear Right... since the specific location of the tire is indicated with pressure
But any tire installer should have that now since TPMS is standard on many cars now and I think by law should be standard starting 2009 or 2010 models.
