any luck selling your car?
why do you want an M37? what about a nice 335i? you could pop a chip in that sucker and it would FLY... or stay with acura and find a nic eSH-aWD TL.... If I got rid of my RL, I'd consider a new TL... unless you hate the look...they have grown on me... in the right color, right wheels, with the body kit..they looik slick!
if I didn't have three kids and need backseat space a 335i would be a great sports sedan.
do you have to have back seats / 4 doors? at yoru age, $hit.. get a 2 seater! you only need room for you and a girlfriend! An S2000....

just curiuos... they look like lower profile tires.... maybe we could do that on our RL wheels and get a "lower" profile look.. then drop it on H&Rs and kill the wheel gap...it would look better maybe?

i would think that b/c you wen tto 17s... the wheels should look too small... but it works... ??

Im glad I still for my 3rd Gen wheels bro, they look sick on our cars slammed!
btw u shouldnt sell your car, once slammed with some sick offsetted wheels, u wont regret it at all, not to mention its AWD......are u kiddin me?
If your car was slammed lower, u would never think of selling it, and have everyone leakin drool pools out their mouths, trust me, u dont see RL's like that, im thinkin about gettin that RL next...

I am thinking about the wheels for next season. Aspecs probably.
Things I have to do
1) Fix mounts
2) Fix chip on fender
3) NYC effing sucks..I have to repaint my front bumper smh

Honestly I really do not want to give it the boot.
I went car shopping. Looked at the 328i Coupe, G37 Coupe, C3350.
I like all of these cars, BUT the interior was killing me. What sealed the deal with me when I bought the RL was the interior. I may sound biased because I own the vehicle, but the RL has one of the nicest interiors.
I don't really care for crazy power because I live in NYC.
Most likely I will keep the RL and consider another car in the near future.
My plans changed this year since I have been blessed with a coupe of things.
I replaced both my HID bulbs and one of the headlights still do not work. I found the problem! The HID ballast was shot. It had a bunch of rust and water inside.
Next month I want to take care of the mounts, brakes, fender liners, and upholstery on the center console.
Following that month I have a crack on my fender which will be fixed for sure..FINALLY!
After all these important things are taken care of, back to putting on some wheels!!
I really want some A-specs, but for the price I can buy some 19in or 20in wheels that look dope.
I have to debate between looks and comfort. 19s/20s look good, but the ride is too harsh in NYC. Especially since i got comfortable with the 17s.
Last but not least...retinting the windshield.....
I hate the tickets, but the comfort and privacy factor makes it all better haha.
Back to the rims...what are some nice wheels I can look at?

ronjons would be nice! too bad RL aspecs are still so pricey...there are a bunch of ebay auctions for TL aspecs really cheap. less than $400 a set, brand new, shipped! but they all end tomorrow! guess you could always get them redrilled though ...lol
those axis penta are cool, but i like BBS for that style rim. plus i dont like lips much. m6 replicas would be hot in 20". even those new enkei LSF and enkei aletta are nice for 18's
i say get 20's. i love how your car looked with your other wheels and you could do better than those now. i know what you mean about ride quality and its not THAT bad. i just switched from 20's to my 17's a few weeks ago and i have H&Rs too.....maybe your tires were spent??

if your HID ballast is shot...I have a conversion kit, 50w for the low beams. If you want to rock it, let me know. Do keep in mind that AFS probably won't work after that...but it beats driving with one light on.

I agree, the RL has a really nice interior compared to those cars that you listed. I'm glad you are keeping it
When it comes to wheels, A-Specs look dope but other RL owners have them. You're the only one with 3G TL wheels so you should continue the exclusiveness with the other set of wheels. They are going to be pricey but I think BBS LMs are dope. I would love to get a gunmetal set for my TL. What's your budget for wheels and tires?

You still thinking of selling it or are you keeping it for sure? You mentioned getting w sports Car. Why not sell the rl now and get a sports car while you are still young and have no kids. Once you are pushing 40, are married have a few kids,,,, sports cars become hard to justify. I sold my boxster recently bC i was sic nd tired of all the repairs and it was a third toy Car. I i was your age, I'd get an s2000, rx8, or some other affordable fun car.
I constantly fantasize about selling my rl for another sporty car there is nothing similar in price to the rl ththat is as nice' that performs better and can hold 3 kids in the back, ther are faster sedans oe an m5, rs4, bu t they cost too much and would be $$$$ to u pkeep. Maybe a new tl? But not sure that wuould be enou different to justify the costs to change,

I know..i have my heart set on aspecs for the spring. I keep telling myself, the money i am going to spend on aspecs I can get some bigger and nicer rims.
Your def right but if you colormatched them I think the gray on gray would look sick and you probably know as well as I do big wheels hurt the ride quality unless your rockin some coils.....you gotta bank on findin a used set like I did for like 600, I still regret gettn rid of those just cause they rode just as good as stock...
