Project RL (Updated Pics Pg. 11)
Instead of me making several threads on the changes to my car. This will be a build thread of my car. From the beginning to the end.
I bought the car in August 2008. I traded in a 2004 Acura TL. I missed the car but the RL is doing its job of replacing it just well. My impression of the Acura RL when I had the TL was.....damn what a baller Acura. IMO for their flagship it is still to small, but if it was any bigger I wouldn't have looked into the car. I love the curves and lines of the car, especially the tail lights.
I felt the RL did not look aggressive enough, but still wanted one. I was supposed to pull a trigger on a WDP, but the LSM was just a really nice color. I got inside the car and first impressions was ooo Navigation! My TL did not have Navi and the interior was so much more refined. I loved it.
The Drive:
It was a soft plush ride, matters of fact it was too plush. The seats were very comfortable. The SH-AWD was fantastic. I will never go back to a FWD car. So I had to mod the suspension to get a more stiffer ride. Anyhoo...here are the pics, I do not want to keep yapping away about this fantastic car. Here goes the visual story

All I did was tint the car all around.

Next, The wheel gap was too big...
So I dropped it on H&R springs. Approximately 1.5F, 1.4R. I still want a bigger drop. I also debadged the car. Currently I am considering if I want the badges back on.

Tinted the windshield and put 8000K HIDS and made a video of the progress.

On NEW YEARS DAY
I ended up blowing my tire on the BQE. Stranded 
. I had to limp the car all the way off the exit. It took about 20 minutes
Now the biggest turn around for this car was here

This thread will be updated every month with the progress. NEW pictures will be posted this afternoon. I have never received so many complements about a car. Pictures don't even do it justice. I thought my TL was so hot witht he modifications. This car is just.......

3.5 SUPERCHARGED!!!!
If the economy gets better.................maybe the mugen kit?

I tinted the tails 35%. It looks very aggressive.
The front plate now...will be going up when I get my custom plates.

My next project is to clear the headlights and paint the housing black + Halos. now that should look like sex.
Your RL is so sick, I love the new tails how you kept part of them clear it looks really good. I love the color of your car also.
For the plate I would get ENVMY RL
Not sure how NY plates work but here we get 7 letters plus a half space. For my TL I got CLEAN TL

Hmm.. that tint on the tails got me thinkin....
Anyway, how bout throwing the SH-AWD badge back on the rear? I think that should stay. I agree with the ACURA and RL badges coming off though.
