Unbelievable man... I think I literally just creamed myself. I've honestly never even thought of an RL for myself (as I thought they were a little too "mature" at this stage in my life), but your whip is amazing --- Sporty AND classy Extremely tasteful mods!

I'll jump in here and add to the accolades.

I always thought the RL had great lines. Just needed a few more touches. It's got one of the most agressive and hotest fronts on any sedan on the road today.

Getting off on a tangent for a second, I think Honda/Acura generally designs good looking cars, they just don't know how to "finish" the job from the factory. I thinks thats a big difference and advantage with MB and BMW. Their cars look better because they come from the factory with good wheels and some underbody treatments. Most people aren't going to go for extra costs for these accessories, so, most people drive around in Acura's with that boring factory look. You finish the car and people are stunned how good it looks.

Lexus is a different story. I think their cars are so ugly you can't really do anything to dress them up (except maybe the LS)

Appreciate your comments amadeus303 . I too had the same thoughts as you when I was buying the RL, but going from my wrx to the RL was a great decision. I never looked back

Thanks Chas2.

Mikey, I had the same thought. When buying the car, the M45 and GS looked more sporty to me then the RL, but then I saw the mugen rl and knew right away if I bought the car I would go that route.

Next mod is on the way - Rotora Front and Rear Slotted Brake Rotors. Will post up when they are on. Also a dvd system is being planned.

Are you planning on going with two piece rotors?

Treblig, they don't make a two piece rotor application for the RL. I wish they did though.

Can't wait to install the JDM Lights. They reportadly swivel more than the USDM lights.

very nice how much did they set you back and what are you doing with the old set? I think the retrofitting source in the black-market may buy them, helping recoup some money. also touge, did you have to cut the factory bumpers or anything for the mugen kit install? do you have an english installation guide for it? Just asking so I have all the info together for my bro.

csmenance, I'll pm you the price on a set. For the mugen kit no cutting is required for the sides or rear. In the front do you do have to trim around the foglights for the brake ducts. A template from mugen is provided. We had the bodykit instructions translated so we do provide the english instructions for our customers.

wow touge, truly a special piece of vip machinery you have there! i had to go back and read every post on this thread before i dared to make any comments. i hope you continue to push the modding envelope, gives people hope/inspiration/ideas. when my father sold acuras at a dealership in tampa i wasn't sold on the rl due to its bland styling and poor hp/weight ratio. you've more than corrected those misgivings and improved on an already stellar platform. congrats! if i don't purchase a cts-v next year i may have to go with an rl.

Now that Comptech is back in business, TL SCs should be available again. I wonder if that would fit the RL. Hmmmmmmm.....

no reason it shouldn't fit physically, but as talked about before, it's the tuning capability. but i would put money on that the ESM comptech sends can be easily modified or updated for the RL. but i see no reason why hondata cannot offer something as well.

Looking good, ol' chap!

Makes me think of how good mine looks. In fact, I need to sidle on over to my window to look at my car in the parking lot.....

Edit: That CL is smoking, too.

Thanks guys. JJaber06, I might get something in gold 20" w/ chrome lip next year if I decide to keep the car. I've always liked gold on white cars.

FL3.2TL, that I don't know yet
