Talking

Well the HIN pre-planning and the 16 hour show are over (We got there at 8:00am and left @ 12am) and life is back to a regular schedule. So here is a quick rear shot w/ industrial backdrop showing off the new wheels, which I'm really liking. It's amazing how much they change the look of the car. I always thought the RL was a great car even in stock form, but the oem 17" wheels really lacked style vs competitors oem wheels.

Here are a two pics w/ models and the RL and one of our booth (we had 8 cars showing), all from HIN -

wow that's looking real sharp.

you need to get rid of all the chrome accents.

p.s. is that with the TEINs? if so, it needs to go a bit lower, don't tuck, just 0 gap.

Hot models. Oh wait, I'm married, I'm not supposed to look.

Beautiful car. Finally, a peek at the finished product! It looks like it picked up a couple of awards, too?

Those wheels are great!

Thanks everyone.

Bob, those are from past events. Hehe, I have some more model pics from our booth I can post if you want

One more pic from the industrial shoot, I'm very happy with the current stance, ride quality is still very nice

Look for a better shoot in the near future as well as a few other mods on order from Japan.

First time in the RL forum. I was looking at cars over the weekend with my brother. Not really a fan of the RL oem style. But I can sure appreciate the car after looking at your ride. Maybe my next car should be a RL instead of a TL, hmm....

EDIT: Touge, is yours the 06 model??

never mind the car...where did you find those girls? Especially the second one, getting out of your car.

More importantly, how do I get her in mine?

Touge, do you have any higher resolution shots of your RL in the "industrial zone"?

It looks real sweet and is an inspiration to us all!

Love the car Touge.

My car should look almost like yours other than the wheels very soon, although it will be in black. BTW, when should I expect the spoiler? I should've ordered the body kit as well. I'm planning a trip to NY soon, can I stop by the shop and look at the car in person?

henryr01, I do, but actually I am doing a new photoshoot this thur featuring a very famous location. If we can pull it off I'll post up some wall papers from that one, if not then I'll post up the industrial pic one for you. Thanks.

John, glad you like it. It'll be cool to have a black twin . What wheels did you decide on ?. Sure let me know when you are in town. I'll pm you on the wing.

Calvin, both are nice wheels. The main difference is the FX are a 2 piece wheel and the FS-01 is 1 piece. Generally 2 piece wheels weigh a bit more than 1 piece. The Shallen lineup however is one of the lightest 2 piece wheels on the market. The advantage to a 2 piece wheel is you can have a nice polished lip. Pm me if you need more info on them

Well the original photoshoot location was unavailable to us last night, so we picked a alternate location for a few quickie's. We'll try our original location at a future date. This spot is home to the 1964's world's fair. Lighting in this area is not good which made it hard, but I think they came out ok.

touge, have you ever considered getting the honda legend headlights with the clear reflector from japan? I think it would look good on your RL.

SupaRookie as stated it's the mugen cf spoiler.

csmeance, yes that is one thing on my to do list =)

Went to the Maxxd Out show today guys and I was stoked. The RL won Best Acura and Best JDM (the trophy for this one is huge!). It's nice to see people give the RL the recognition it deserves . I'll post a few pictures up later =).

I see. How much does the whole mugen kit run for? The your RL is top notch, I dont see why it doesnt deserve recognition. If it was stock....that's another story.

Two pics from yesterday's car show.

Also installed the CG Lock today on the seatbelt. It's basically a device that keeps the lower belt of the seatbelt tight around your wasteline to keep you from sliding around during hard turns, which is something that was happening to me after the coilovers and tires. I weigh only 150lb.
