Thanks Nelson. It's actually off the car right now because I was trying to persuade tanabe to start importing there exhaust. So I volunteered to be there guinea pig. I thought I had succeeded, however I have heard rumors that tanabe has discontinued there RL exhaust, so the 5zigen might be going back on

All right, that clarifies it. No wonder I don't see your exhaust on the last picture that you posted.

Yeah the RL white color is a 3 stage paint so it's pretty hard to match. Even on my last car I had the factory kit and it was not a 100% and that was a silver car.
Nice Accord btw. I had gt-v's on my last car, great looking wheel .

The white puddle lights are in. It's a popular item in Japan on alot of the VIP style cars. They go nicely with the door handle and only will turn on if you have your dome light to the 'door' position or if you manually have the dome lights on. So when you approach from far and hit unlock on the key fob they will light up and then shut off when you start the car. Here is a quick pic -

Thanks malayalee king. Each puddle light is using 4 leds. Actually for some reason in the picture there is a bit of a blue tint, but in real life it looks super white (4000k).

That's good to know, I would hate those lights if they were on while driving.

I have quite a bit of experience with paint and bodywork. IMHO, pre-painted body parts should NEVER be purchased. Matter of fact, if it was the only option, I would bring it back to my bodyshop to get re-done for a perfect match. There is no reason a GOOD bodyshop shouldn't be able to paint/match your current body parts. The main reason why one should not order pre-painted parts is that the elements/the sun/etc. impact your paint. Secondly, many bodyparts such as fiberglass, urethane, polyurethane, etc. adheres to paint differently. You can't just get a color code and expect everthing to match.

Touge, you should have a bodyshop mold your front and rear lips (when you bring it in to get the paint matched. ) to the existing bumpers. It will look much cleaner.

Great looking ride lito, paint the rear valance black FTW! I also recommend you bring the car to your bodyshop to match the paint. It's not too bad though. White is one of the more difficult colors to match.

Those lights are beautiful. All you need are the wheels and you'll have a HIN contender.

Thanks guys.
Coilovers are installed . On the drive back to my office the car was riding beautifully. Feels a bit stiffer than stock which I like and less bodyroll. I'll be adjusting the dampening more to my preference after I get the wheels on as those will affect the ride also.
Have to finish up with work, but I'll post up a picture later in the day.

Roy, the wheels shipped out yesterday . Just got 4 new tpms sensors today . Still have to order tires, 255 or 265's, not sure yet.
Overall I'm very happy with the performance and looks of the car now with the new suspension... no more 4x4 look!. If I had to estimate, I'd say the ride is about 15% stiffer than stock. The turn in response has been greatly improved. Dampening right now I have set to 10 (these are 16 way adjustable). 0 being the stiffest and 16 being the softest.
Ok here is a pic of the rear, the front picture I took came out too blurry. I still need to make some adjustments to the height as right now I have about a 2 finger gap all around. However I'm going to let it settle a bit and then drop it more next week.

A firmer ride is what this car needs to compete with the BMW 5. Looks good!

Here are two pics showing the new drop. I lowered it another 1/4" in the rear. Will be dropping the front a bit more also once the wheels come in.

no need to call energy, just checked their site, looks like the RL uses unique sizing bars. Front is 29mm and rear is 17mm, both are solid. energy does not even produce a 29mm, they have 28.5mm and 30mm. they a 17.5mm greaseable, and a straight 17mm non-grease. the rear tends to be more important anyway.
