nice pictures! I like the first one very much. BTW, did you already scratch the underside of the front bumper? Does your car have the A-Spec suspension?

Thanks. I tried to take some interesting pictures to capture the car's subtle lines.

The car is not A-Spec, and I don't think I've scraped the underside of the front bumper...yet. I have scraped a wheel, though. Ugh.

Thanks. That first picture was a bit of a challenge. I got lucky to find a building with slanted windows, but it was hard to get a picture of the reflection without myself ending up in the picture. The metering was not quite to my satisfaction, as the car is a bit overexposed.

On the last picture, the flash was inadvertenly left on, causing the headlights (which were off) to glow.

Wood Steering Wheel color match

I just installed the wood steering wheel in my 2006 rl. it has the light grey interior. Is the steering "wood" color darker than the interior "wood" trim? Does your wood color closely match or is it darker like mine? Your reply(ies) are appreciated!

I do not have the mod, but previous threads say that the wood is a different shade, after all, wood is a natural product and has variations. Kind of like the difference between granite and Silestone or Zodiaq. The "plood" steering wheel, the wood shifter knob, and the wood trim on the dash are slightly different shades, but not so much as to be really objectionable. What I don't know is how they did such a good job matching the plastic plood door trim to the real wood trim in the dash!

PS when are they going to fix the search function?

Having gone from the standard wheel to the wood one I was wondering if you found those "bump ins" at 2 and 10 o'clock where the leather wheel meets the wood annoying?

I test drove an 09 and found the prominent bump with its prominent rough stitching very noticeable. It could be just the way I hold the wheel in turns.

I like the plood wheel top to bottom, or all the way around.

The 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock bumps do not intrude or bother me in any way. When I'm gripping the wheel, my thumbs are in the countoured area below the bumps.
