Thank you! I'm not doing too much more to it. My low end power decreased with the new exhaust so I am looking to get a pulley next. The people I talked to that have had it installed highly recommend it.

These wheels are a b*tch to keep clean too. Drive down the street in the rain and the barrels are filled with dirt. Since the design is so open, it is easily noticeable. I always keep a microfiber towel on me.

Anyone know where I can find short tuner lugs size 14x1.5? I have the same size lugs on the front and back tires, but due to the design and offset of the rear wheels, the lugs stick out and I'm looking for a short set that would be flush with the wheel. I cant find any in the size 14x1.5.

LOL. I was actually thinking on the drive to work today (before seeing this post) about my comment, and I though to myself if I was as critical of your wheel setup as I have been with others. I don't care for the staggered setup or the slight stretch on the rear wheels, so I MIGHT have been a bit hypocritical. (The front wheels/tires look great.) However, you prefaced unveiling your setup with the comment that you don't like the rear wheels either, so I didn't see a need to harp on that. In addition, I can dig the low as long as the fenders don't cover the tires.

In all honesty, I think white is the best color for the RL, the Mugen kit is the best kit, and I really like the way the Vossens look on the RL. So yeah, I want. I'll deal with the rear wheels after I receive delivery.

I have an extra set of tuner 14x1.5 lugs coming in, and if they're shorties, you can have them at my cost.

I doubt they will be shorties. The only size I could find on google was 12x1.5. I must be looking in all the wrong places. But I might now be interested in kb1 Legend scuff plates and jdm luxury RL floor mats, as long as they don't say Honda on them. If you can get your hands on them shoot me a pm

I was searching on google clicking different pictures and I ran into what looks like my twin...

In Cali there is another white Mugen RL. He installed a 2010 Mercededs S550 LED DRL's into the Mugen vents which looks like a nice clean fit

And here is the first time I've seen someone paint the diffuser white

^^^Page 4 of the West Coast Accessories catalog. They have 14x1.5 1.38" spline lugs in both chrome and black. I have a set of the chrome ones from them, used them on my old winter setup. You can have them if you wanna drive to Colorado.

Fall '14 Update

How's it going everyone? I have had a busy summer working a lot but I have been enjoying my RL. No problems mechanically whatsoever. My fingers are still crossed but so far I am glad I did not purchase the extended warranty. Since my last post I upgraded my DRL's to LED and replaced the lower chrome section of my front grille that was chipped.

I have a jpipe and pulley that needs to be installed

I decided to keep my Vossen wheels for another year so I bought 4 new tires. I went with Continental Extreme Contact DW and they are much better than the old set of Falkens I had.
My two front wheels cracked and Vossen is sending me a new set free of charge. They have top notch customer service. This winter I plan to powdercoat them mirror silver.

I bought JDM luxury Legend floormats. I confirmed that these are indeed the ebony color but they don't match my interior the way I would like them to. If anyone is interested in buying them, send me a PM. I plan to make a thread in the black market and sell them at the same price I paid.

Instead of buying winter tires I decided to buy winter beater. I bought a 98 Jeep cherokee 2 door from my friend before he moved to Colorado. I paid the same price it would have cost to put new snow tires on the RL.

Here are 2 photos nice I took this summer. I get a lot of random compliments every time I drive it.

Next Spring I want to powder coat my brakes either silver, brembo gold, or a brandy wine red and upgrade the rotors. And I have my eye on Leon Hardiritt Freiden's for my next set of wheels.

If only their quality was top notch, their customer service wouldn't have as much opportunity to shine.

You have to hand it to them for selling so many wheels when they are over priced by $1000. Every one loves the designs but they don't understand how the wheel is made.

Thank you. I've had this all in mind since 2006/2007 when another member on this site was the first one to get these parts in the US.

Just a Wild Idea.....

By the way, your car looks amazing and was inspirational in my build!
Check out the rear diffuser on the Mugen KB1 at the 8 min 55 second mark and see that the center diffuser is color keyed to the body..... Makes me want to build a white one!

That is a very nice compliment. Thanks bud!

So you think I should paint my diffuser? Even with my Mugen trunk lip? I think the carbon fiber on the trunk flows perfectly with the painted black diffuser.

A year ago I thought I was going to be one of a handful of people in the United States with the Mugen body kit. But as time goes on, especially searching through Instagram, I'm find a lot more of them. The other day I was 15 minutes early driving in to work when I saw another white RL with the Mugen kit and aftermarket wheels driving in the other direction. I saw that car 2 years ago but I thought it was the aspec kit. He had the diffuser painted white but had the oem trunk lip. I thought I would have better chances getting struck by lightning than seeing another White Mugen RL in my area.

When I was searching for my RL, I would say over half of those available were north of VA and east of OH. While not a common sight, your best chances are in the North East.

Update

Vossen is out of stock of the CV3 model for my replacement. They offered to give me 4 brand new wheels of my choice so I chose the CVT.

I also want to share pencil drawings of my RL. The artist did a good job.

I know it's "winter" for some of y'all, but did you ever put the CVTs on?

They were delivered to me earlier this month but I don't see myself installing them until April. I haven't been driving my RL recently because of the weather.
If you are dying to see what they look like, there is someone on Instagram with CVT's on an RL but I don't think he is on this forum.

I had time to put my new wheels on right before the Gumball meet this weekend in NY. I think they flow well with the body kit. What do you guys think?

I was there at the gumball meet and saw msw rl and I loved it! Think I also saw it a year earlier at a clean culture meet up in NY. His car in person is so much better looking than the pics lol such a great build and it just looks amazing. Thankfully he's an awesome guy and respects other rl's when he sees them and was happy to see mines there at the Gumball meet.

That is very nice and clean. I've always admired the white and tried to find one but couldn't find one to my liking.

If you don't mind, what % is your tint?

Thank you!
That Gumball show was pretty interesting. Not that I was looking to win but did you notice they had no category for Acura. I would assume we would be lumped in with Honda but they mentioned all companies besides ours.

Clean is the word I had in mind when choosing my parts. I'm detailing it soon and I bought some new products from Chemical Guys... I'm excited to see how much shine I can get out of my white paint.

I don't mind you asking, I went with 35% all around because of my black interior and the fact I can roll up the window shades whenever I please.

Aaah so you are the owner of that sweet looking RL that I saw on my boy Randy's IG. Love the look of the rear
It's pics like this that gives me thoughts of modding my RL like I've done with my GS but I'm just keeping it simple for now.

Welcome bro, yeah it was...some serious cars there. I didnt expect to win anything either so i stayed over by our booth while they were doing the awards, but if they didnt mention Acura or lump us in with Honda then thats pretty messed up lol....then again thats why i enjoy the RL because were an underdog because they dont expect us to be somewhat modded and stuff like that....i just enjoy standing out and being different. They hatin on us guys lol

My bad responding so late, I must have missed your post. Randy is a good dude. That show was the first time I met up with him but I'll be seeing him this weekend. He's going to help me roll my fenders more.
