So my CD player hasn't worked in months but recently the front/rear defroster light has given out too and I wouldn't mind replacing.

Ive looked on eBay for replacement stereos but is the CD player repairable? That's mainly what I need fixed.
Do I have any options or at the point I'm at replacement is my option

 

I know the DVD unit can be sent back for repair, it is possible the CD changer can also be repaired. However, it might be cheaper to find a functioning used one and just replace it.

EDIT: Or find a local shop that can look into it after you remove the CD changer

 

Soo i recently purchased a 2006 RL and love everything about it and learning about its capabilities is amazing. BUT... There is a list of them. One is that my cd changer wont play any cds i load. I no it might be the disc reader in the changer itelf but i don't thint so because I loaded a cd clean disc and nothing still happens and of course my first car had to not come with a auxiliary input. I don't wanna go and purchase another changer because i really don't have mucb cash


PLEASE HELP. There has to b a way to get inside there and possibly clean or simply replace one little part.
