New owner of a 2010 RL / Tech Pkg. Does anyone know if the back up camera is supposed to include distance lines and night vision. I had both features on a previous TL but not seeing it on the RL. Wondering if it was a paid option or if mine is having problems. Thanks

I have never seen lines on a stock RL camera. If your "night vision" isn't working, replace your reverse lights.

 

Lines and night vision are a selling point for ebay cameras.

 

Thanks, I appreciate the replies. The reverse camera on my '09 TL came with both distance lines and night vision so I assumed it would be there on the RL too. I'll ask the dealer.

What is all this non-sense about night vision in cars? I always called them lights.

 

5% window tint at midnight...
