Navigation search question

Can anyone tell me, why when you do a navigation search by "name" I get locations hundreds of miles from where I am at. Is there something I am doing wrong?

This has been discussed before, and I'll bet this post gets moved to the Electronics and Navigation forum.

But until then, it happens to all of us. Just start out searching by city and you'll get your POI faster.

I get the same thing. I also find that it is difficult when they add several sub categories to some listings. I would also be interested if I may be doing something wrong.

I had the same problem in my TL and continue to have it in the RL. Thanks for the tip about starting in your city, but it may be a bit cumbersome. Definitely a bug in the software.
