I've looked up the past posts for problems LOCKING the front door with the dimple. I live in a rainy area and am having this problem. After reading many posts it seems to be almost as many people who continued to have problems after the handle was replaced as have had the problem fixed.

Also, I can't access the TSB 09-042. I did the process described before the list of TSBs and can open many other ones but for some reason, 09-042 says I'm not authorized.

Any new info in this problem before I order a new handle?

 

does the car start with the fob?
you may just have a blown fuse.

 

Everything is normal but the ability to lock with the dimple. Sometimes if I hit the door handle it works again. Any news on why I can't open that one TSB?

Yes it works for all other TSBs but not that one 09-042. Weird.

 

Not sure what to say... Maybe PM the admin at the top of the TSB page

That TSB works for me. Are your browser cookies on? You might try a different browser as well.

My 2005 RL driver's door, now just quite. I can't walk by the car and have the door open by itself anymore. I think it is the electronic inside the door handle. The dealer said to replace the door handle at around $450.

Have anyone try a solvent/dry spray for electric switch to dry the electronics?

the fuse is the most common indicator of a failing door handle. Check that first.
