In the Navi setup, I forget the exact loaction but you can turn on or off the automatic clock updating. I have a 2005 as well and it updated without any problem.

Clock adjustment is described in the Navigation System manual, not the Owner's Manual. Factory (default) settings would have "Auto Daylight" and "Auto Time Zone" ON.

FYI: I recently obtained the current DVD (for 2006 RL) to update Navi. This year the DST changeover occurred ON the proper day. Might want to review status of the DVD version. Cheers!

Thumbs down daylight savings time change

I understand that Acura issued an update disk (11-2007 I think they said) to the dealers that covered the daylight savings time change that covers 2005-07 at least RLs. The crack programming staff managed the two eight byte constant change in a record time of around two years!!!

Check out this thread and see your dealer. It is unlikely that you have the patch, unless you bought 4.62 in fall 2007 and were able to successfully upgrade, or the recent 4.64, available early fall 2008.
