Question 2005 RL Battery Died and now CAR wants a Pin code

I left the car on overnight and the battery was dead. Duh!

Now the car is asking for a Pin code on the Nav Screen.

The radio works, but I cannot get anything on the nav screen.

I looked though all of the paperwork, and no pins.

Now what?!?!

Thanks,

The Nav code and the radio should/can be in two locations. There should be a card in the packet with the owners manual, nav manual, etc with the codes. Also, the codes should be written down in the beginning of the Owner's manual.

If neither of those two places, you can look to see if the original sticker is still on the trunk sill or spare tire area(which it probably is not since the dealer is supposed to remove it). After that, if you can't find it, you will probably have to go visit the dealer and have them retrieve the codes for you. Good luck.

Check your cars initial prep sheet that you probably got with the sales sheet workup.

One way to prevent this problem in the future is to store the pin #s in the acura owner's website: https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp?brand=acura

Both codes are on the little white card in your manual packet.

Thanks for all of the feedback.

I went to the dealer and they looked inside the glove box and 2 stickers were placed there.

Those were the codes.

The great thing is I found this website!

Thanks again!
