Wobble upon braking

Gents!
ive been quiet for a while since my car was running fine, now i need your help again!
my RL (05 140ysh k) developed a fast, oscilating steering wheel wobble, kinda like shaking a spray paint with the bb inside (less noise ofcourse). It only happens when breaking from higher speeds (say 40mph and up) its speed dependant (if i was breaking from 80mph its shakes at teally high frequency then the shake slows down with the speed) car runs fine otherwise. I was sure its the front brakes as i heavent touch them in 2 years. I got new napa rotors and pads, today i lifted the car and to my surprise the old rotors look fine, pads have plenty of life left in them.... what should i look for, i have a broken stabilizer link socket bit its been like that for a long time with no symptoms.... someone help please!

ps tires are 3.5 years old, not a whole lot of thread left but i just dont understand why would an off balance wheel cause problems while braking only....

have a great weekend!

Check to see if your brake caliper pins are stuck. Ensure they are lubricated with silicone lubricant and are sliding freely.

Allright guys, since i got no recomendations i will change the front brakes anyway since i bought them a week ago, will keep you posted, if the problem is still there i will attack rear brakes since some aurozone duralast crap is currently in the rear, i got a strange feeling that the rear brakes could cause this. Will keep you posted!

Don't Duralast parts have a lifetime warranty? You could probably get free replacement parts on the rear...
