Driver's Side Seat starting to wobble
Driver's Side Seat starting to wobble
Just started a new job 2 months ago where the commute is a lot of brutal stop n go traffic. I'm not a heavy guy, I'm 5'9" @ 180lbs.
I noticed that the Driver's seat in my 2009 Acura TSX has started to wobble whenever I brake or accelerate. It has gotten worse and now the seat wobbling has gotten really bad.
I looked at the seat and the main bolts to the car are tightly fastened. It is something inside the seat that is making it wobble.
I think I'm out of warranty as it's a 2009 with 70k miles on it. Has anyone experienced this and/or repaired this? Wondering it's something I can fix myself or just pay the dealer to fix.

There are two rods at the front and back of the bottom of the seat going across. One of those probably broke. You can just take it to a shop and have them weld it back in. On my old honda we had fixed it with epoxy and it actually held up.
